Our Favourite Disney Jewellery Brought to life

 

Since the inception of the entertainment company, Disney in 1937, there has been the release of so many movies that leave a remarkable imprint on our lives. Many kids grew up reading, watching and singing everything that relates to the entertainment giant.

 

The entertainment company is known for creating contents that stand out from the competition. The characters created in the various stories and fairy tales, are mostly known to have specific Disney Jewellery and emblems that make them stand out.

In a bid to make these memories last in reality, the team at Diamond Treats embarked on the project of bringing this Disney jewels to life. Right from the imagination of a creative thinker, to reality, nothing could more intriguing than that. Here is a quick run through of how various pieces were honed:

  • Moana’s necklace: The necklace which played a major role in keeping Moana, her kingdom and her people safe, was one of the jewels hewed. The necklace according to the movie has been given to Moana by her grandmother. The perfect rendition of the fictional piece was achieved by using; dark brown macramé cord for the necklace, and chalcedony crystal for the pendant.

 

  • Cinderella’s Earrings: The amazing character of Cinderella was made to be a symbol of happy ending. To save the poor girl from her misery, her fairy god mother has dressed her up for the ball. Of all that she was adorned with, her earing was recreated as one with about 18 carats white diamond.

 

  • Esmerelda’s jewellery: Esmerelda was not the typical princess like Cinderella, but her strides of helping Quasimodo escape in the movie ‘’Hunchback of Notre Dame’’ cannot go unnoticed. Of all attire she used in the movie, the 18 carat gold hooped earrings were worth recreation, and it was.

 

  • Dalmatian – Cruella de Vil’s ring: Cruella as known in the movie always wanted the finest things, and her ring was replicated from solid platinum, with the centre adorned with blue moonstone

 

  • Alladin – Jasmine’s jewellery: The Disney classic from 1992, Alladin, was full of magic and mystical elements. Jasmine was the beautiful princess in the movie, and her jewellery was also brought to life. And to achieve this masterpiece, 18 carat gold was used.

 

  • Alice in wonderland – Queen of hearts earring: The queen of hearts wasn’t the most beautiful person in the movie, but she had a drop earring that was worth reproduction. And it was replicated with 18 carats yellow gold which was designed in long curved triangular shape.

 

  • Beauty and the beast – Belle’s jewellery: In teaching life lessons that a book should never be judged by its cover. Belle’s drop earrings were replicated with a circular natural ruby followed by two gold tear drops.

 

  • Frozen – Elsa’s tiara: Elsa with the mystical power had her Tiara made by the Diamond Treats, from solid platinum which are crafted into shapes like dropping icicles.

 

  • Pocahontas necklace: Pocanhontas who had fallen in love with the British colonist, John Smith wore a necklace. This necklace is a sacred gem, and has duly made from Turquoise stone, and a silver droplet pendant.

 

  • Robinhood – Prince John’s ring: The rings by Prince John were made to be bigger, bolder and eye catching. They are crafted with an 18 carats yellow gold band, a match with the crown of Prince John.

 

  • Snow white – evil queen’s necklace: The evil queen was a statement character in the animated movie, and she wore a really conspicuous necklace. This is made from large red garnet stone pendant, on a white gold chain.

 

  • Sleeping beauty: Princess Aurora’s necklace was brought to life with the use of 18 carats yellow gold, and with a V shape design. This makes it simple yet elegant.

 

  • The little mermaid – Ursula jewellery: The villain, Ursula had her earrings designed with gold circular studs, and large natural blue agate stones that are in the shape of conch shells.
